Year 2 Net

Each year in May children in Year 2 are assessed and children at risk in writing, reading, and numeracy are validated.  Later in Term 3, funds are provided for intervention and assistance in the areas of need.  A Year 2 Net Report is sent home to all parents of Year 2 children at the end of the year.

 Year 3, Year 5 & Year 7 Tests

All children in Year 5 and Year 7, and a sample of Year 3 children, undergo a statewide testing program to assess their development.  The results of the Year 5 and Year 7 Tests are released to schools and parents late in November.  The tests will be administered in August.  Funds will be made available to initiate an intervention program for those children identified as having problems.

Year 7 Graduation

Each year a Year 7 Graduation function involving Year 7 students and their families is held to recognise the students’ achievements whilst at Tolga State School.
