Key Learning Areas (K.L.A.)

This is the name given to the primary subject areas.  They are English, Maths, Science, Health and Physical Education, Studies of Society and the Environment, Language Other Than English (Italian at Tolga School), Technology, and the Arts (Music, Art, Drama).

Lost Property

Parents are urged to ensure that all articles of clothing are named.  This allows us to return lost property immediately.  Lost property can be located in a storage bin in the Health Room at the end of Block A.  Once per term we have a lost property parade, then unclaimed clothing is taken into St. Vincent’s.

Language Other Than English (L.O.T.E.)

In 2007, it is anticipated our LOTE will be Italian and it will be delivered to our Year 5, Year 6, and Year 7 students in one weekly lesson up to one hour by a LOTE specialist.

In the event the LOTE tuition is not available, the school will provide an alternative cultural or developmental program.
