Behaviour Management The school has a Supportive School Environment Policy that outlines this area. Our policy is based on rights and responsibilities. This policy was reviewed by staff and community during 2006. Copies of the policy are available on request from the school office. The new program is called Responsible Behaviour Plan. It provides the framework for supporting students' behaviour in conjunction with our 'You Can Do It' program.
Book Club Scholastic Book Club operates at school twice per term. It offers a variety of books at various levels. The school gains bonus books for purchases, which are then placed in our library for all children to use. Order forms are sent home and the return-by-date advertised in the school newsletter. Orders should be accompanied by the correct payment. Cheques should be made payable to Tolga State School.

Fairs Book Fairs are usually held once a year and offer a range of quality, affordable books. Book Fairs usually run for a week and parents are encouraged to come along and browse. Book Fairs are advertised through our ‘School Scoop’ Newsletter.
Books
and Requisites A list of requisites is available from the school office. Children must be encouraged to take care of this material and a ‘safe’ place arranged for any school material when it is at home. PLEASE PURCHASE BOOKS WITH THE CORRECT WRITING LINES FOR THE YEAR LEVEL. All requisites are available from local Newsagents. During the year it will be necessary to replace many of the items on the requisites list, ie pencils, glue, writing books etc.

Week Book Week is held in August each year. Our Library Display and class activities celebrate the significance of books in our lives.
